To
the Congregation:
At
its meeting held on April 4,
2022, Session voted unanimously to make the wearing of masks optional
throughout the building, including the Sanctuary on Sunday mornings.
This
decision is effective immediately. For those who may continue to have
concerns,
or who have underlying health issues and wish to continue the wearing
of masks,
we completely understand and support your decision.
For
the Churchtime Sunday School
participants, the same options are available. Decisions can be made on
a day-to-day
and a case-by-case basis.
Additionally,
the church
buildings are now open for in-person use. All regular activities such
as
meetings, gatherings, use of the Gym and Kitchen are available and we
encourage
everyone to come home.
Planning
is underway for active
summer programming as well. The Christian Education Committee is
planning for Vacation
Bible School
in July and the Church Picnic in late spring; and with the success of
the
clean-up event held on Saturday the 2nd, the Community Outreach
Committee is exploring options for this fall.
Throughout these past two years
we have gone through a lot as a congregation and as individuals and we
thank
God for the support from your prayers, your attendance, and your
financial
gifts. As we now enter this new phase, we look ahead to Palm Sunday and
Easter
where together as a congregation we rejoice in the message of
resurrection
through the life and witness of Jesus Christ.
