HOLY
WEEK - The Week of March 29, 2026 in the Life of the
Church
- Palm
Sunday Service: On Sunday, March 29th, we will
gather in the sanctuary to celebrate Jesus entering
Jerusalem. We'll worship with prayers, songs,
scripture, and a sermon. Our sanctuary will be
adorned with palms on the chancel. Palms will be
distributed during the service, and additional palms
will be available following the service. At the
close of worship, the cross, the piano, and various
elements on the chancel will be draped in black as
we travel to Maundy Thursday and Good Friday.
- Maundy
Thursday: Reverend Barge, on Maundy Thursday,
will be participating at the Warminster church in an
evening service. Those interested in attending,
please ask Rev. Barge for more information. There
will not be a service at our church that day.
- Good
Friday: We will be holding a service in
the sanctuary from noon to 1:00. In this service of
reflection, we will be traveling to the cross in
scripture, prayer, and meditation.
- Easter
Sunday: Join us as we celebrate the
resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ and the
Sacrament of Holy Communion at 11 o’clock. During
this joyous time, we will be singing the praises of
our risen Lord in songs, prayers, scripture, and the
spoken word. As has been our custom, at the
conclusion of the service, we will go onto the Tabor
Road steps and sing hymns and conclude with the
benediction.

BEYOND 2025
Capital Campaign - March 22nd Update

The
Corporate Administration Committee is pleased to provide
the following update on the Beyond 2025 campaign. As of
March 22, we have received $25,598 towards our goal of
$100,000, representing 25.6% to date from 33 giving
units. We thank those who have given and encourage those
who have yet to give to consider this important campaign
in the life of Olney Presbyterian Church.

RECORDINGS
Each
week an audio recording of the previous Sunday's morning
worship is posted on the "Listen" page at this
site. The announcements, scripture reading(s), and
sermon are included in that recording.
SUNDAY WORSHIP!!!
Our
Sunday
Morning Worship Service is held each week in the
sanctuary except from the 2nd Sunday of June through
Labor Day where we will meet in the air conditioned
chapel. The service begins at 11am, and masks are
optional. The audio of the message each week is
posted on our "Listen" page.
OTHER NEWS
The
church
buildings
are open for in-person use. All regular activities such as
meetings, gatherings, use of the Gym and Kitchen are
available. Masks
are
optional at all church activities.
Inclement Weather:

church closes due to inclement weather and unsafe travel
or street conditions, notice will be provided on our
